Nebula Awards
The Nebula awards are given by the Science Fiction Writers of America to outstanding works in the SF and Fantasy fields. The nominees are selected by the members of SFWA and the winners voted on by secret ballot. More information on the Nebulas may be found at the Nebula web page
In some years SFWA also chooses to name a "grand master" - someone who has been writing in the field for many years, and is acknowledged by his peers as being a master of the art.
