Suggestions for First Night Activities

These are some of the brainstorming ideas that have been proposed for First Night games/activities/Midway booths for clubs and interest groups.

Not all of these are equally feasible — all would need further development. But we present this list in hopes that it will give you some ideas, and perhaps spark some new and interesting thoughts.

Please let us know if your group would like to organize any of these activities, or if you have other suggestions for what you'd like to do for First Night. We'd like to know as soon as possible, so we can allocate space for you, help you make your plans, make sure you're listed in the First Night program, and also to be sure we don't have two groups working on the same type of thing.

Carnival Games

• Hugo ring toss (we'll supply the Hugos!)
• Fannish Whack-A-Mole (with propeller beanies?)
• Dunking booth (could be tricky)

• Scavenger Hunt / Hynes Rally / Orienteering / Geo cache (collect tokens)
